About
Timnah Rosenshine is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Chicago. She received her BA in Visual Arts and Religious Studies from the University of Chicago. For the last few years, she has been the Programs and Operations Administrator for the Department of Visual Arts at the University of Chicago. Rosenshine is pursuing her MFA from the Tyler School of Art and Architecture.
Rosenshine’s practice fluctuates between intuitive drawing and more methodical and deliberate performances. Much of her work is conceptually concerned with the sacred/profane dichotomy and its implications within ritual practices and idiosyncratic commercialism.
